I graduated in 1982 from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, obtained my radiology specialist qualification in 1987, and have specialized in ultrasound diagnostics since 1984.
I worked for over 20 years in Budapest hospitals, initially contributing to the establishment of the first ultrasound diagnostic laboratories (Semmelweis University 1st Department of Internal Medicine, Balassa János Hospital). I also practiced at numerous state and private healthcare institutions in both inpatient and outpatient settings (National Institute of Sports Medicine, HIETE-OGYK, MÁV Hospital, Medicover, T&T Clinic, 2nd District Health Service Kapás Street Clinic, IMC/Euromedic/Diagnoscan/Affidea, Mind Clinic).
From 2011 to 2019, until my retirement, I served as Medical Director of the Affidea Hungary Ltd. Mammut II Center, where I organized the operation of Hungary's first multimodal private diagnostic facility (X-ray, ultrasound, DEXA, CT, mammography, later joint MRI). I regularly participated in organized leadership training programs there.
Throughout my career, I gained experience in adult and pediatric general radiological diagnostics (X-ray, ultrasound), chest-abdominal CT, and abdominal MRI diagnostics. Since 2022, I have also been performing liver elastography at Mind Clinic.
I am a member of the Hungarian Radiological Society's Pediatric Radiology and Ultrasound Section, and have been a member of MSZNUT since 2005.
Previously, I participated in undergraduate (SOTE) and postgraduate (HIETE) medical education, as well as training general diagnostic sonographers (ESZTI, Vincotte). Currently, I work only part-time.
