Internal medicine specialist, gastroenterologist. His career began under Professor Ákos Pap, spending a decade in his pioneering team and at national gastroenterological centers. He completed several years of study visits abroad in Vienna, Basel, and London. He gained significant experience in the preclinical and clinical development of drug candidate compounds as a colleague of the late Professor György Kéri. He participated in founding Oncompass Medicine, a precision oncology diagnostics company, and serves on its board. Oncompass Medicine was among the first worldwide to introduce molecular characterization of tumors into clinical practice for the personalized treatment of cancer. As founder of the DiaVitas program, he likewise began integrating molecular biological knowledge into clinical practice through microbiome/gut flora characterization, being among the pioneers globally. He continues this work as founder and one of the directors of the Budapest MiND Institute.
His professional focus includes translational research and therapy exploring the relationship between metabolism, autoimmune inflammatory diseases, neurological disorders, and the microbiome. As part of his research and clinical activities, he helped develop the endoscopic laboratory at the Affidea Bank Center, as a member of the Endoexpert gastroenterology group practice, where he also performs endoscopic procedures.
