Internal medicine specialist, cardiologist. He completed his university studies at Semmelweis University, Freiburg, and Heidelberg, earning his degree summa cum laude in 1997. He began his career under Professor Kornél Simon in Székesfehérvár, then worked for 15 years from 2001 at the Cardiology Department of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital in Budapest in the pioneering workshop of Professor Károly Zámolyi. He conducted scientific research at the University of Szeged in the institute of Professor Gyula Papp, studying myocardial adaptation mechanisms under hypoxic conditions. He earned his PhD in this field in 2006.
He has completed several study visits in Germany, including a scholarship year at the Deutsches Herzzentrum in Munich (ESC), where he learned cardiac catheterization. In addition to clinical cardiology, he has specialized in interventional cardiology for 20 years, including coronary angioplasty and stent implantation. After training abroad, he has been performing cardiac CT scans since 2010 and is credited with introducing this diagnostic method at hospitals in Székesfehérvár and Szolnok.
From 2017, he lived in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, for eight years, working as a chief physician at a heart clinic and later managing a cardiology practice.
He returned to Hungary with his family in the spring of 2025 and currently serves as Deputy Head Physician of the Cardiology Department at Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Hospital and as a cardiologist at Mind Klinika. Besides focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases, his recent interests increasingly lie in prevention, including primary and secondary prevention.
He is a member of the Hungarian and German Cardiology Societies and speaks German at an advanced level and English at an intermediate level.
